Wahlbergs opening aptly named burger joint

Wahlbergs opening aptly named burger joint

Brothers Mark and Donnie Wahlberg are opening a burger joint together called … wait for it … Wahlburgers.
According to The Boston Herald, the brothers, including chef Paul Wahlberg, have secured their awesome name, as well as a lease on a 4,300 square foot space. The burger joint will be installed near their Italian restaurant, Alma Nove, at Hingham Shipyard. Hingham Shipyard, of course, is in Boston.

The name Wahlburgers was previously trademarked, so it was a bit of work obtaining “full spectrum” use of the name, Ed St. Croix, Paul Wahlberg’s business partner, told The Herald. Oddly, there was already a “Wahlburger” being sold by New York burger chain Tom Wahl’s.

But it was worth the extra effort. Wahlbergers!

The new burger joint will seat about 80 inside and 40 on an outdoor patio. Older brother Paul will serve as Wahlberger’s chef.
